Me, The “Other” Wins the 2018 Buddha International Film Festival, India

Sunday, June 10, 2018 – The Best Documentary Award was announced at this year’s The Buddha International Film Festival in Pune, India and our film was honored as one of the prize winners. The audience responded very warmly to the film, and the social issues raised within our documentary clearly carried a universal resonance. In a world challenged and divided by acts of injustice, bias and prejudice, the uplifting message of Me, The “Other” spoke well to the Festival’s theme of cultural diversity and understanding as a strong advocate for social change. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew of over 200 mostly volunteers who came together to tell stories highlighting the oneness of our human family.
