Steve Vinson- Associate Producer

Steve started his professional career at the University of Michigan Health System (Michigan Medicine) in 1995, and is currently working as a Finance and Business Analyst and a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead for the organization. He's been leading the University of Michigan Medical Group DEI Committee since March of 2017 and due to his initiatives, he was the recipient of the Office of Health, Equity and Inclusion’s inaugural DEI Advocate Award in April 2018. Steve facilitates DEI workshops across campus and as a member of the University of Michigan Voices of the Staff, he received the Voices Champion Award in 2019.

Recently, Steve represented UM staff on the Workplace Innovation Staff Experience Committee and the Michigan Medicine Anti-Racism Oversight Committee.

Steve lives in Ann Arbor and has a 22-year old son, Devin, who lives in Chicago.
